BAR 15 SANTA FE 8W

Polled Red Purebred
Born Jan. 21, 2009
BW: 88 lb. W.WT: 826 4/6 100
|

8W's Dam |
The dam of Santa Fe is a big, stout cow that I bought from X-T Simmentals, Eastend, SK as a heifer calf. She has given me three bulls and one heifer calf. The heifer is in the herd at home, and one of her bulls sold to East Cardston Colony. The sire, Bar 15 Sahara 2R, has been a consistent producer of very light birth weights, but with lots of “grow” later on.Santa Fe weaned off at 49% of his dam’s weight. |
BAR 15 PROTÉGÉ 20U

Polled Red Purebred
Born: Jan. 26, 2008
BW: 94 lb W.WT: 848 2/6 103
|

20U's Dam |
Bar 15 Protégé refers to his sire “TNT Bullseye” who has passed on his excellent disposition to this young fellow. That, and a light birth weight and excellent performance adds to the future potential of this calf. His dam is a popular Good A Nuff daughter going back to a Sting X Bullseye cow 6R in the “Spanish Eyes” cow family, the mother of the Bodybuilder bull calf. He weaned off at 62% of his two year old dam’s body weight. |

9W's Sire |
“Bar 15 Attitude 9W” is of royal lineage being a great-grandson of the “Bar 15 83Y” half blood cow that started the “Jet Black” cow family for Bar 15 Simmentals. His dam is a daughter of “NLC Tomcat” and out of the black “89A” cow that Tri-Add stock farms purchased from us in 1998. I purchased “Attitude’s” dam from Darren in his dispersal in 2007. She has a picture perfect udder and weaned off 58% of her 1500 lb body weight. |
