14T's Dam          The dam of “Bar 15 Flanna 14T” sold in the Bar 15 Dispersal 2004, to Brylor Ranch and Abraham Land & Cattle Co. for $5000. “49J” was my favorite cow in the herd because of her production record and picture perfect udder. Her first calf was a bull and sold to Cronkhite Cattle. Co for $6000; she has daughters in the Speargrass Cattle Co. herd at Bassano, and Twin Butte Simmentals, Twin Butte, AB.  Bar 15 used her son “Bar 15 Freedom” before he sold to Paul Runions, Fort Macleod, AB.  “49J” sold as a five year old cow with a record of having sold four progeny for an average of $3825, and gross of $15,300.             With maternal trait EDP’s of +4.5 on Milk; +15.2 Maternal WW;  +21.6 on WW;  +40 on YW; and +13.3 on Stayability; “14T” plans to contribute positive genetic traits to the Simmental breed as well.  You can see why I hate to part with this thick, well made heifer.  She sells with two doses of “TNT Bullseye K104” semen for use on her alone.
