  A great crowd was on hand for the 31st Annual Bar 15 Sale; held at the Bar 15 Ranch, Pincher Creek. A smaller offering than usual; the sale was over in quick fashion; with a good selection of Red and Black Simmental, and Angus bulls from the new guest consignors from Claresholm: Don & Brian Lane families. Bulls sold to four provinces: Alberta, B.C., Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.

   High selling bull was Lot 1: Bar 15 Tremor 1M, a red Purebred Simmental bull sired by "TNT Tremor" and out of a Black Simmental cow. He sold to Donfield Farms Ltd., Keith & Margaret Donahoe, from The Pas, MB. for $7100.

   Second high seller of the sale was Lot 25: Bar 15 Red Dakota 129N; He sold to Rowenda Stock Farms, Rod & Brenda Berezowecki, also from The Pas., for $5100. Lot 25 was a red Purebred Simmental son of "TNT Bullsye"; who sired one third of the sale offering and whose sons averaged $3742 on 13 bulls. Lot 25 was the number one bull on weaning index, and full brother to the bull that started the Bar 15 Sale last year.

   High selling Black Purebred Simmental bull was Lot 34: Bar 15 Built Right 103N; sired by another Bar 15 owned herdsire: Triple C Peterbuilt. He went to Jerry & Darlene Sawley and family at Nanton, AB for $4300.

   High selling Fullblood Simmental bull was Lot 52: Bar 15 Tango 90N; going to East Cardston Colony at $3500. East Cardston was also the volume buyer of the sale with three higher selling bulls purchased.

   High selling Bar 15 Bestcross bull was a solid red 7/8 Simmental sired by "TNT Bullseye", going to Hadwin Cattle Co., Consort, AB for $3600.

90% of the buyers were repeat customers.

94% of the bulls sold to repeat customers.
